Terms of use
These terms explain the boundaries of Sumlet Budget and the responsibilities that come with using a private or shared Household Ledger.

Budgeting tool, not professional advice
Sumlet helps you organize information and learn general financial concepts. It does not provide individualized financial, investment, tax, credit, insurance, or legal advice.
Your Household Ledger
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you add and for inviting only people you trust. Household members may view or change shared records according to their role. Do not share a password; each member should use their own account.
AI-assisted entry
AI can make mistakes. Review every draft before confirming it. You remain responsible for transaction details, category choices, and any decisions based on Sumlet’s calculations or educational information.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sumlet to submit unlawful content, compromise another person’s access, or store payment-card numbers, authentication secrets, government identifiers, health information, or other highly sensitive data.
Availability and records
Sumlet may change as the product improves. Keep appropriate exports of records you need for personal, tax, or legal purposes. Data & History provides available export options for authorized Household members.
